Volunteer With Us
Smiles, stories, and shared moments — it’s all part of volunteering at Hospice
It’s not just what you give — it’s what you gain.
At Albany Community Hospice, our volunteers are integral to our palliative care services, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and/or carers.
Our volunteers contribute in many ways from being the welcoming face of our Hospice by greeting families and visitors, assisting with various administrative tasks, offering companionship and emotional support to supporting with the preparation of our delicious home-cooked meals. They also provide valuable retail support at our Butterflies Op Shop. Through their contributions, our volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring that Albany Community Hospice delivers the compassionate, person-centred care that defines us.
