Few experiences in life are more fulfilling that volunteering to assist others. The Albany Community Hospice could not exist without the ongoing support from our dedicated team of volunteers. We are always looking for ways to improve and expand on what we have to offer to our guests and their families, and as such we are always on the lookout for new volunteers. If you would like to join our hospice family by becoming a volunteer, then please fill in an application form or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org We look forward to hearing from you!
The Hospice employs staff to provide specialist inpatient palliative care services in a caring and supportive environment. Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Patient Care Assistants, Administration staff, Cleaners and Support Coordinators.
The Hospice welcomes nursing, medical, allied health and pharmacy students to gain palliative care experience in a professional and person environment focusing on holistic individualised care. The experience you gain will complement your skills in acute care and will provide invaluable knowledge about death and dying.
