Giving your Support
Your support, large or small, will contribute to Hospice’s commitment to be a centre of excellence in the Great Southern Region of Western Australia. It will help to provide current opportunities, fund new ones, and ensure the ongoing presence of a specialist unit in Albany.
As a donor, you can be assured that your generosity will go towards clinical services, new technology and equipment, and quality education and training programs, all of which will enhance Hospice’s existing services
If you would like any further information, please contact us via email on firstname.lastname@example.org
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt will be sent to you if you provide us with your address. The Albany community and the Albany Hospice thanks you for your support.

Donations and regular giving can be arranged through our Everyday Hero account. You can choose to pledge a regular monthly, quarterly, yearly or once-off donation to the Hospice. The choice of amount is yours and will be charged directly to your account at the nominated intervals.
To make a donation or set up your pledge, go to our Everyday Hero page: https://heroix-au.everydayhero.com/charities/4888/donate
It is a simple, easy and secure process, and at the end of each financial year, you will be issued with your total pledge amount donated and your tax deductible receipt.
Donations can also be made directly to the Hospice by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or direct debit using our bank account details as follows:

If you would like to give regularly using direct debit, you will need to contact your financial institution to set up a direct debit payment. Once this is done please notify the Hospice admin team on 08 9892 2456 or email@example.com and we will arrange to send out your tax deductible receipt. Your pledge can be as short term or permanent as you wish and can be cancelled or changed at any time by notifying your financial institution.
More and more people are also choosing to ask friends and family to make a donation to the Hospice in lieu of a gift for their birthday, anniversary, Christmas or other celebrations. Everyday Hero now makes fundraising in this way easier. In just minutes you can create your own online fundraising page, then start sharing the link with your friends, family and colleagues and asking/inviting them to make a donation in lieu of a gift. Every donation is then recorded on your fundraising page along with a message of support from your donors. It’s a simple process, just follow this link to our Everyday Hero page: http://www.everydayhero.com.au/event/fundraiseincelebration
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and are receipts are conveniently emailed at the end of the financial year.
Making a donation in memory of a loved one or friend is a meaningful way of ‘celebrating’ their life. In this spirit, many families have supported Albany Hospice by encouraging donations in lieu of flowers at their loved one’s funeral. It is a special gift that supports those in our local community that need the care and services of Albany Hospice, whilst honouring the memory of your loved one.
Albany Community Hospice provides ‘In Memory’ envelopes at Albany funeral services, or donations can be made online through our Everyday Hero account.
We have now partnered with Everyday Hero to enable families to create an “In Memory” fundraising page for the Hospice. Family and friends can make a donation in lieu of flowers and leave a message of remembrance. Just follow this link: https://www.everydayhero.com.au/event/fundraiseinmemory
and in a few easy steps you can set up a personalised page, and then share your In Memory page link with family and friends, inviting them to donate and share their photos and memories.
A bequest is a gift left in a Will (be it money, shares, property or other valuable items). It is an investment in the future, in the wellbeing and quality of life for others who come after us, a truly lasting legacy.
While family and friends should rightly come first, the addition of a gift in your Will to a cause you are passionate about means you can touch many lives. Your gift, no matter how large or small, will make a difference.
Albany Community Hospice thanks and honours the individuals and families who have left bequests, knowing that this special gift will have significant impact into the future by allowing us to plan services and programs in advance. We advise you to seek professional legal advice to confirm the correct expression of intent in any new or existing Wills.
